In response to frequent requests by other Martial Arts organization that they be allowed to affiliate with our United States Martial Arts Association, we have created the Affiliated Organizations Program as described below.
We welcome all organizations which wish to be affiliated with the SEMA. The benefits of this affiliation are many, including recognition, participation in the SMA national seminar program, and the linking of the website of the affiliated organization with the SEMA. Affiliated organizations will also be announced and welcomed at the annual Hall of Fame, and a certificate of affiliation will be furnished the organization by the SEMA.

Organizations which wish to affiliate with the SEMA must have at least one of their officials as current Life Members of the SEMA, and must complete a SEMA Membership and Promotion form as follows. In the space where the new member is ordinarily listed in Section 3, the full and exact name of the organization should be listed along with the name and full address of the official contact for the organization, such as the President. If desired, both the email address and the homepage designation for the organization may be listed in Section 3. The information regarding ranks in Section 4 of the form will be left blank. The affiliation fee of $100 should accompany the application.

Prospective affiliated organizations should understand that organizational affiliation with the SEMA is totally separate from the recognition and registration of a new art or rank system with our Association. That is accomplished by registering individual ranks with the SEMA, and the new art will then be automatically listed in our International Board of Martial Arts Masters.

Please note also that clubs are automatically listed without charge in our International Club Directory just as soon as new members join the SEMA, so this too is separate from organizational affiliation. In some cases, clubs may wish to become affiliated organizations, on a purely optional basis. A good example would be the SEMA’s largest club, with over 200 registered Life Members; Sensei in St. Louis, which actually consists of five or more clubs in separate locations and many black belts. He may wish to be an affiliated organization, and that is open to him if he desires. For additional information and to sign up for the affiliate program please contact

Note: Organizations are listed in alphabetical order, with the name of the registering official and also the date of affiliation.
